Greyson Greaves is an active fourteen-year old boy from Port Charlotte, FL, who has always dreamed of being a Formula One car driver. His love for racing began in the backyard driving his own go-kart since he was six years old. He learns about the dynamics, tricks and race-craft associated with car handling through books and watching Formula 1, Indy and NASCAR races on YouTube and TV. He is beyond excited to now have been racing for three years in the X30 Jr Class of Kart Racing.
Greyson quickly learned from his coaches and retains the knowledge gained exceptionally well. Greyson practices often and hones in his race-craft with every session on the track.

A Little History of Kart Racing
The first kart was created in August 1956 in California (USA) by Art Ingels and Lou Borelli: it is a small vehicle with a tubular chassis powered by the West Bend engine of a lawnmower.
Modern Go Karting
In the 1990s, go-karting established its place as the first rung on the ladder for aspiring professional racing drivers. Many of the world’s top F1 drivers, including Kimi Raikkonen, seven times F1 world champion Michael Schumacher, and Max Verstappen, the youngest ever F1 driver, started in karting.
Karting is considered the career stepping stone to the road of Formula one; most all open-wheel race car drivers started young in Kart Racing, and with your help and support, Greyson can become one of them.
I believe in sportsmanship first. The sport is the game, and we are all in it together. While I am very competitive, I also want to support all the competitors and sponsors as we strive to make the sport of kart racing great. I work every day to better myself and to better the game.
